This rejuvenating smoothie is one of my favorite beverages that I enjoy after my morning jog. It’s filled with chia seeds that are not only low in calories but also fill up my stomach and reduce future hunger cravings. Along with blue berries and half of a banana for my post-workout pick me up energy which leaves me feeling fresh and ready for the day. If my legs are starting to feel sore (which they often do) or weak I throw in half a scoop of my favorite soy protein to help with my recovery.
Half a cup of blue berries.
Half a banana.
Half a cup of almond milk.
Two teaspoons of chia seeds.
Half a scoop of ON soy protein.
