Nick Menza, former Megadeth drummer died on stage at the Baked Potato in Studio City on May 21, 2016. The internet was flooded with tributes from fans and former bandmates. It was confirmed that the cause of death was cardiovascular disease.

Nick Menza may be gone but he has not finished surprising fans yet. A band that Nick was producing and also playing drums for has been working on the drummer’s final recorded tracks. One year ago Menza had announced via twitter that he had begun pre-production with the band Sweet Eve and it looks as if some of his hard work will finally be made public.
