Toast to 2017 aboard the majestic Queen Mary and ring in the New Year with a night of delicious food, spectacular drinks, and entertainment inspired by Hollywood’s most iconic films. New Year’s Eve revelers can travel throughout the ship’s decks, ballrooms, and salons to step into their favorite films including Dirty Dancing, Urban Cowboy, Goldfinger, Avatar and more. The themed parties will celebrate the sights and sounds of beloved movies, culminating with one of SoCal’s best New Year’s Eve firework displays.

The iconic evening begins in the Grand Salon where attendees can swing dance to the Hedge Hog Swing Band, gamble, and sip champagne all inspired by the 1996 film The Godfather. Then dust off your boots and pull up a bar stool in the Royal Salon for line dancing and country music, influenced by John Trovolta’s Urban Cowboy. Become spellbound on the Promenade Deck, mimicking the iconic filmNow You See Me with strolling magicians, close-up magic, tarot card readers, a bar, and music featuring today’s top hits. Trade in the magic tricks for salsa dancing shows and instructions inspired from the 1990s iconic film Mambo Kings in the Queen’s Salon.

Spin and dance onto the Sports Deck for black lights, LED furniture, and neon face painting inspired by the science fiction film Avatar. Channel your inner George Clooney from Ocean’s Eleven and lounge at the Verandah Grill while playing popular casino games for prizes and sipping on your favorite classic cocktail. Continue the celebration with a DJ and dancing on the Verandah Deck, themed from the classic film Matrix.

VIP tickets invite an intimate number of guests to ring in 2017 with three additional themed parties inspired by the fan favorite films Dirty Dancing, Arabian Nights, and the iconic James Bond film Goldfinger which will feature dueling pianos, live jazz, and bottle service.

The Queen Mary’s New Year’s Eve extravaganza offers a celebration for everyone. Guests can choose to enjoy a more mellow night with delicious food, dazzling drinks, and live entertainment, or dance the night away in a country bar or club-like atmosphere. New Year’s Eve on The Queen Mary runs from 7:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. Guests must be 21 years old to attend.
