History of Adriana Michelle

At the age of 18, Adriana Michelle started out as an intern at Splash Magazines Worldwide working closely under the late Lawrence Davis, Publisher and Editor-in-Chief. Davis took notice of her work ethic and decided to teach her the ways of freelance journalism where she had the opportunity to report on events, products and services in Hollywood and abroad.

The events she covered ranged from celebrity red carpets, fashion shows, gifting suites, five-star hotels and restaurants, award galas and ceremonies, technology expos, and much more.

In 2011, interested in on-camera hosting, Adriana trained in a series of on-air trainings with media coach and television personalities Suzanne Sena and Jonathan Novack. This training led to on-camera opportunities including hosting for KCAL9’s California Adventure TV, Splash Magazines Worldwide, and TheWhatItDo.com.

Although Adriana loved the media aspect of Hollywood, she still dreamed of taking on Hollywood as celebrity talent.  She finally got that chance at the age of 24 as an official titleholder for the Miss California Latina Pageant Organization (two consecutive years in a row) being Miss Studio City Latina 2012 and Miss Los Angeles Latina 2013.

The city titles encouraged her to give back to her community and get involved with numerous non-profits including Aviva Family and Children Services, United Way L.A., Los Angeles After-School All-Stars, and People For Community Improvement, to name a few.

After claiming Top 10 at the Miss California Latina 2013 -14 State Pageant, the largest state pageant in the country for Latinas, Adriana decided it was time to go back to school and focus on finishing her education, while creating her entertainment and celebrity news site, AMBmagazine.com.

Today, Adriana is preparing to celebrate her hard work graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from California State University Northridge, May 19th, 2017.
